The History of Victoria’s Railways has just been published for the first time and shows the development of Victoria’s railways outside Melbourne. The map has information on the dates of opening and closing of lines, but because of the extent of the historical network, station details are being recorded on this website

The map features:

  • all passenger lines and stations and several of the more significant industrial and wharf lines.
  • information on the dates of opening and closing of lines.
  • an exploded view of the compact Ballarat area
  • all closed lines which are now dedicated tourist lines
  • A1 (841mm x 594mm) on archival quality paper for convenient framing

Price per map is AUD $20.00 plus a flat rate of $12.00 postage in Australia for up to 10 maps.
